I think my favorite part of this project was trying to find a line between Otomo’s work and Groening’s cartoon style. I don’t think I nailed it, because I’m neither of those two talented people, but I’m happy with what I produced; something that looks like I drew.
The other challenge I enjoyed was taking iconic Simpsons landmarks, and designing how they’d be destroyed, as well as choosing which characters lucky enough to be running away from the blast.
I put in a few hidden things here and there; places, characters, signs. Try to find ‘em!
“Well, ain’t we a pair, raggedy man.”
My piece for ‘We Ain’t Got Time to Bleed,” a zine put together by my awesome, and talented buddy Stefie. The zine is full of a lot of extremely talented artists from all over the world, and I’m glad I was able to be apart of it. I mean, c’mon, a zine about awesome 1980s action movies with cheesy one liners, explosions, gun fights, and especially being able to do not only my favorite Mad Max film (or one of my favorite films of all time), but an art piece about Mel Gibson and Tina Turner, how could I NOT take part?
Powdered Toast Man of Astora WIP.
This will probably turn into a series of paintings. What did I get myself into?

Xenogears, the best RPG from the Playstation 1 era, turns 15 years old today. This was my entry to the Xenogears 15th Anniversary Anthology. Seriously, go play this game.
